Gay Videos Plus Review

Gay Videos Plus is part of the Massive Gay Pass and while the tour only promises member access to five sites, you end up getting 27 gay sites for the price of one. The tour page does seem a little off kilter and maybe it hasn't been updated very often over the years, but hopefully this isn't a reflection of what is inside the site.

Inside the members area you'll notice that a lot of the search features are geared toward the network as a whole. You can search the archives of individual sites like GayVideosPlus or bonuses like GayKey and GayVideoFilms and there is a huge list of categories. However, the categories give back content across the network and not just content on a single site. There are about a half dozen filters, though, and there is an A-Z model list, although there aren't model biographies.

Currently, there are 40 GayVideosPlus episodes. This isn't a lot of content and the update schedule isn't fantastic, either. There was a recent update a few days ago, but it looks like the schedule is rather sporadic. You might get one new movie in a month or you might not get a new movie for a couple of months. What it comes down to is that you'll be relying on the bonus sites for the most part. However, the weird thing about this site is that back in the early part of 2012 there were over a thousand videos offered by Gay Videos Plus. The site has been around for over five years, so you would expect more than 40 films. It looks like they are probably being recycled nowadays and sadly, not quickly.

The videos come with scene descriptions and sets of photos. When you click an image, it opens in a slideshow, but the pictures are seriously small and better suited to a mobile device than to PC viewing. There are ZIP downloads for the sets, but again they are only 320x240 pictures, which is a major disappointment. Also, while some of the photos do seem clear enough and while there are also higher resolution images, some sets also look like screen caps and this is a downer.

Videos aren't really that much better. They are offered in low, medium and high-quality for both the Flash streams and the MP4 downloads, but 1440kbps, 584x480 is the highest quality and going into the year 2013 I'd expect much higher quality options. Some films look recent, some look dated and how much of the content is exclusive is anyone's guess. The site promises exclusive movies and while some of the scenes may very well be, I also felt that some of the scenes weren't. I'll give the site the benefit of the doubt, but then with below average looking films, I'm not sure whether the exclusivity of the movies makes much difference.

Final Verdict

Gay Videos Plus offers nice looking gay guys in masturbation and hardcore action. The tour looks promising, but the content found on the members area fails to meet the expectation of the tour. A lot of the scenes look dated and even those that look more recent are below average quality. Since the site is part of a larger network I'd only recommend it to you if you are looking for quantity over quality.
